PDC-M33 Stand-alone magnetic stripe card reader has 256k flash memory
Taiwan – Fametech Inc. has released a magnetic stripe card reader, the PDC2. The stand-alone device has an 80C31 8-bit CPU and 256k of flash memory that stores up to 3,000 dual-track or 1,500 triple-track data records. The PDC2 transfers its data to a PC through an RS-232 port and has a working life of at least 300,000 bidirectional card swipes. One 9V alkaline battery provides enough power for more than 10,000 card swipes. The device measures 100x33x58mm and weighs 115g. only There is no minimum order and the sample FOB price is $270 each.
